It was a pleasure to be at the Ipplepen Memory Cafe yesterday. Such a lovely group of people . The theme was Desert Island discs and those who wanted to could name their favourite song/music piece and why they had chosen it – it was then played for everyone to listen to – lovely evocative memories for everyone. A very electic mix from Ave Maria to Cliff Richard’s Wired for Sound . Bringing back memories of love ones, childhood days and all things good.
Margaret couldn’t decide on her favourite so she cleverly named 10 songs which she said would reflect her changing mood if indeed she was cast away alone on an island !!
The volunteers worked hard putting on a great array of cakes and hot drinks as always
