At our Coronation Cream Tea this morning was also our Grand Coronation Raffle, drawn by Rev Michael Wilkie.
Well done to all 77 lucky winners! Some were present this morning and the remaining winners will be contacted in due course.
A huge thank you to our volunteer Alyson who took on the massive task of organising this raffle, without all her hard work, time and effort it wouldn’t have been possible!
We are very grateful to all the local businesses and the community of Kingskerswell for their support in donating money, prizes and for purchasing tickets.
Our volunteers also deserve a thank you for helping in many ways. From pounded the streets and delivering raffle tickets to the majority of the village, to promoting the raffle in Newton Abbot & outside the Co-op and for selling tickets to their family and friends.
Thank you also to Kaz and Kym at the Kaleidoscope sweet shop and Post Office and to the Health Centre who agreed to take in the completed ticket stubs and money.
The final total raised will be published soon and these vital funds will go towards helping us to continue our work in supporting those who are lonely and socially isolated.
