DESCRIPTION:Jeff and Jo THE TWO OF US singing for us. \nTrailblazers is a friendly monthly get-together for the elder generation and retired people from Ipplepen and the nearby villages of Kingskerswell\, Denbury\, Abbotskerswell\, Ogwell and Broadhempston. \nIt’s a chance to come together for an afternoon of company\, conversation and laughter. Most months we welcome guest speakers – so far this year we’ve enjoyed visits from the Devon Air Ambulance\, the Fire Brigade\, Blood Bikes\, and experts on online safety. We often add in a light-hearted quiz or bingo\, and there’s always a warm cup of tea or coffee with a slice of cake to share. \nWe usually meet at Ipplepen Village Hall from 1:30pm\, but sometimes we venture out on trips – previously we have visited Buckfast Abbey for a stroll around the grounds and lunch together. \nThere’s no need to come every month\, just join us when you can. New faces are always welcome\, and we’re open to suggestions for future talks and outings.

DESCRIPTION:We run the Kerswella Memory Café in Kingskerswell on the fourth Thursday of every month from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm at the Pavilion at the Kingskerswell Playing Fields. \nWe will offer a welcoming\, stimulating and supportive setting for adults with memory loss and their carers/partners to provide a needed break from everyday routine OR for anyone who would simply like company for the afternoon. \nThe afternoon will provide the opportunity to socialise and relax in a calm environment through a variety of entertainment\, songs and enjoyable activities – often with the emphasis on reminiscence – with light refreshments of course \nTransport can be arranged if booked in advance with us. \nDo contact us at Kerswella if you would like to know more on 07554 667037 \nWe welcome voluntary donations to help cover our costs and we will have a raffle each session.

SUMMARY:Trailblazers - Christmas Lunch at Dainton Golf Club
DESCRIPTION:Christmas Lunch at Dainton Golf Club (volunteers will drive you there if you do not drive) BOOKING ESSENTIAL – Pick up 12pm from home if required. \nTrailblazers is a friendly monthly get-together for the elder generation and retired people from Ipplepen and the nearby villages of Kingskerswell\, Denbury\, Abbotskerswell\, Ogwell and Broadhempston. \nIt’s a chance to come together for an afternoon of company\, conversation and laughter. Most months we welcome guest speakers – so far this year we’ve enjoyed visits from the Devon Air Ambulance\, the Fire Brigade\, Blood Bikes\, and experts on online safety. We often add in a light-hearted quiz or bingo\, and there’s always a warm cup of tea or coffee with a slice of cake to share. \nWe usually meet at Ipplepen Village Hall from 1:30pm\, but sometimes we venture out on trips – previously we have visited Buckfast Abbey for a stroll around the grounds and lunch together. \nThere’s no need to come every month\, just join us when you can. New faces are always welcome\, and we’re open to suggestions for future talks and outings.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Christmas Memory Cafe\, thank you all for joining us through-out 2026! \nWe run the Kerswella Memory Café in Kingskerswell on the fourth Thursday of every month from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm at the Pavilion at the Kingskerswell Playing Fields. \nWe will offer a welcoming\, stimulating and supportive setting for adults with memory loss and their carers/partners to provide a needed break from everyday routine OR for anyone who would simply like company for the afternoon. \nThe afternoon will provide the opportunity to socialise and relax in a calm environment through a variety of entertainment\, songs and enjoyable activities – often with the emphasis on reminiscence – with light refreshments of course \nTransport can be arranged if booked in advance with us. \nDo contact us at Kerswella if you would like to know more on 07554 667037 \nWe welcome voluntary donations to help cover our costs and we will have a raffle each session.
